I’m proud to manage farms for a company that cares passionately for bird welfare. As an animal lover I couldn’t do the job if this wasn’t the case.
When I’m not hard at work, I love getting out and enjoying the Norfolk countryside on my bike. In fact, I cycle up to 100 miles a week during the holidays. I also love to look after my tropical garden.

Like many of my colleagues, I’ve been with the company for many years - over 30 in my case. For me, it’s the high standards that Bernard Matthews Farms has always worked to that have kept me committed to my role and proud to work for the company.
At the farm I enjoy passing on my knowledge and setting a good example to others. After work I spend time training my horses for show-jumping competitions.

I pride myself in maintaining Bernard Matthews Farms high standards in food preparation every single day, and it’s these standards that have made me proud to work for the company for 12 years. My husband Paul also works for Bernard Matthews Farms.
My pride and attention to detail carries through into my personal life with my love of stamp collecting. I’ve even got one of the world’s first self-adhesive stamps.

I’m a self confessed perfectionist and I like to think it comes through in my work. I’m proud to work for a company where everyone is encouraged to maintain very high standards. In fact, my job at Bernard Matthews Farms is all about making sure our turkey is of high quality plus ensuring the health and safety of our food and our employees.
When I’m not working, I’m a governor at two local schools and also an unofficial taxi service for my daughters!

I get great satisfaction from my job and feel that the company trusts me to do the job to the best of my ability. I’m proud to be working for a company that’s ahead of the game within the industry and that has such high welfare standards.
In fact, you could say I’m really proud. Whenever I run a marathon in aid of Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, a charity close to my heart because I’m a hearing aid user myself, I always like to wear Bernard Matthews Farms branded clothing!

I manage 60 people on one of the food production lines and have been with the company for over 20 years. I’m proud of the good quality food that we produce and so love to eat a lot of it at home myself.
I’m a keen gardener, with my own allotment, so I always have plenty of fresh vegetables to serve with the turkey. Recently I won a prize for growing an amazing 10-stone pumpkin!

I’m responsible for helping to run one of the farms, and ensuring that all the turkeys are healthy and well cared for. I’m proud of the welfare standards at Bernard Matthews Farms and am keen that people hear the truth about just how much care goes in to making sure the turkeys have everything they need, such as food, light and warmth.
At home, I’m a real family man and proud to tell them all about where daddy works.

I’m passionate about my job, hobbies and life in the UK. At Bernard Matthews Farms, I’m proud to train our staff, in personal and food safety. This ensures that our hygiene and safety standards remain extremely high within our food preparation areas. My role also includes inductions for new staff - so you could call me the ‘Chief Welcomer’.
When I’m not working I enjoy cooking, entertaining and travelling. I also love to shop!

I’m proud to work for Bernard Matthews Farms because of the fantastic camaraderie that exists in the team. It’s my job to make sure we’re feeding our turkeys the right feed to keep them in the best possible health. I also work closely with other members of the Agricultural team to make sure all our turkey’s needs are met.
At home I enjoy training my 4 dogs to take part in various dog shows around the country. Recently my Border Collie, Rio, won 3rd prize in the Crufts Obedience Category.

I am part of the team responsible for maintaining the well being of our turkeys. My role not only includes looking after our turkeys, but also making regular visits to all our farms with independent vets. For me, working with the turkeys is a way of life, not just a job. That’s why I’m proud of what I do and am always looking at ways of maintaining our already high welfare standards.
I also like to look after my own health and well being so you can often find me at the gym or on the squash court.
