A record holder!

Bernard Matthews holds the record for the largest turkey farmer in Europe in 1968 making Guinness Book of Records status.

In the early 1960s, Bernard established himself across the world as The Turkey Expert, even advising the Hungarian government and then helping to modernise the Russian poultry industry.

With this new reputation came the creation of his first branded range, Norfolk Manor Farms, to bring high quality turkey portions and roasts for everyday to UK families.

In the 1970s and 80s, Bernard Matthews made turkey products to suit the needs of the nation. Quick, easy to cook and serve meals for busy families, finally making turkey convenient to use, and a meat available to everyone.

The 1990s saw further innovations and in 1992 the cooked meats range was launched including turkey ham! Quickly becoming a big hit, our Wafer Thin Turkey Ham is still the biggest selling cooked meat on the market.

Today, there's an even larger range of Bernard Matthews Farms fresh,frozen and cooked products to choose from, all using 100% British turkey, reared on our own farms across East Anglia.
